About This Book:
The most comprehensive and excellent Arabic commentary on Mishkat al-Masabih is Mirqat al-Mafatih by 'Ali ibn Sultan Muhammad al-Qari (d. 1014/1605). He belonged to the Hanafi School and became known as Mulla Ali al-Qari. He was provided with an essential Islamic education in Herat, Iran, where he was born. After that, he moved to Saudi Arabia's Makkah al-Mukarramah and studied under renowned academic Shaykh Ahmad ibn Hajar Haythami Makki. Mulla 'Ali al-Qari ultimately chose the decision to stay in Makkah al-Mukarramah, where he taught, passed away, and was buried.
Ali Al-Qari:
He provided the first commentary on the Qur'an to be produced by a Hanafi scholar, it must be identified here. Based on the opinions of the early Hadith scholars, the author of this commentary addresses Ahadith's authenticity.
