This pamphlet is intended to assist new Muslims and others who have not previously practiced their faith in learning how to pray in Islam. It covers a variety of topics, including how to prepare for prayer and the many forms and degrees of prayer. It is neither too brief nor too comprehensive, but finds a happy medium. This booklet's language is simple, and it contains some Arabic pronunciation aids to help you pronounce the prayers and supplications correctly.
There are also transliterations available. This booklet's content is based on authentic traditions of the Prophet Muhammad, who urged his followers to pray in the same way he did. I also researched respectable sources when producing this booklet, including the most trustworthy works and thinkers from Islam's four major schools of thought. For areas where there may be differing viewpoints, I've attempted to give what I think to be the most correct stance based on good evidence.
