All Muslim scholars of Tafsir (exegesis) have agreed that the most authentic book after the Book of Allah (the Qur'an) is Sahih Al-Bukhari. Imam Al-Bukhari was born on the 13th of Shawwal in the year 194 AH in Bukhara, a region of Khorasan (present-day western Turkistan). His full name was Muhammad ibn Ismail ibn Al-Mughirah Al-Bukhari. His father passed away when he was still a young child, and he was raised by his mother. At the age of ten, he began acquiring knowledge of Hadith.
