This wonderful book is filled with poetry written by a renowned scholar named Shaikh Hafidh al-Hakami. It was translated using the interpretations of another teacher, Shaykh Abdur Razzaq al-Badr. Each line in the original Arabic poetry finishes with the letter "mm," however this section is missing in the translation. This book discusses many important topics, including the amazing things about the Qur'an, parts of it that may be difficult to understand, how the Qur'an can be a source of healing, why it's important to really think about the Qur'an, stories about supernatural beings known as jinn who heard the Qur'an, and how some people failed when attempting to copy the Qur'an.
In the book, Hasan al-Basri says something sensible. He discusses how some people may claim to have read the whole Qur'an without missing a single letter, but if their acts and conduct do not represent what is in the Qur'an, it's as if they've missed the entire message. It is not enough to just read the words; it is also necessary to live by them.
