This is the creed written by Imām al-Mujaddid, Shaykh Muhammad ibn 'Abd al-Wahhab-may Allah sanctify his soul, elevate his rank, and gather us and you with him, alongside the prophets, messengers, the truthful, the martyrs, and the righteous-indeed, He is the One who grants that and is fully capable of it. He wrote this creed for the people of al-Qasim upon their request to clarify his creed while he was preoccupied. Thus, he composed a concise creed reflecting the beliefs of Ahl al-Sunnah wal-Jamaah, in which he outlined the six fundamental principles: belief in Allah, His angels, His books, His messengers, the Last Day, and predestination--both its good and its evil. This constitutes complete faith. Our commentary on this treatise aims to provide a detailed explanation, precise clarification of its intended meanings, and a closer approach to benefiting from it.
