The eminent scholar Imam Ibn Taymiah has, indeed, by composing the "A Commentary on Al-Aqidah Al-Wasitiyyah", extended the invitation to the probing of the rich fields of Islamic theology. Imam Ibn Taymiyyah has a detailed critique of Al-Aqidah Al-Wasitiyyah, a seminal Islamic work and it was written by Ibn Taymiyyah himself, in his work which consists of two volumes. Ibn Taymiyyah imam expands upon the fundamental Islam concepts by creating an extensive body of research and carefully analyzing each one of the sub-themes that form the very basis of the religion.
Volume One: The two main ideas of the Islamic Heritage are the Creed and the Ethics.
As for the first volume of this commentary, he deals with the pristine perceptions of the Islamic creed which involves explaining concepts such as Allah's foreknowledge (Qadr) , absolute monotheism (Tawhid), and Allah's attributes. Each section consists of a detailed study of these key ideas, quoting passages from the Qur'an, Hadiths and related academic philosophy, in order to complete the core pillars of the Islamic faith. Imam Ibn Taymiyah enables the readers with a deeper understanding of the primary principles of Islam by heightening the level of intellectual speech and presenting a logical argument.
Volume Two: We must also look into this depth because of the faith system of Islam.
In another written work known as the「Volume Two of his commentary」, Imam Ibn Taymiyyah goes further into issues of Islamic doctrine which includes things like the Day of Judgment, intercession, and the afterlife. He works through the difficult theological issues bearing the great intellect and insight, and are used to support or clarify the Quran teachings or Prophetic traditions in terms of what they do and why they are important. Through clarification and resolving theological as well as mytheological issues, Ibn Taymiyyah's text introduces readers not only to the fundamentals of the doctrine but also to the doctrine as an intergral part of theology.
